Transmission Shields
What are some of the "Best Fitting" Transmission shields available?
(We've used the "Waters" shields in the past on other applications) Looking for some Options/Opinions/Suggestions for use in our BB, 70 Chevelle SS using a Metric 200 TIA |

Call Ken Keir. He makes a 200 blanket.

Re: Transmission Shields
Think about putting on a J&W SFI bellhousing on it. Maybe a little more $ but a lot easier.

Re: Transmission Shields
The Tom Waters Race Car Products Shield sold by Scott McClay and others, fits nice and has no issues on a SS/GT Cobalt.

Ordered a Tom Waters C-4 shield through Competition Products a week or so ago. i was contacted by CP's purchasing manager who said he is out of business and they were pulling his products listings from their website and refunded my money. |

Making the tunnel removable makes life easier all around.

Re: Transmission Shields
TheTCI one fits in the DP Challenger after a little work. The flex plate shield is a little bit of work to get all of the trans bolts to start and thread in three tuns with your fingers. The aluminum block really makes you cautious of cross threading a bolt. That is bending and trimming the tabs to fit the case.
