Please read the attached announcement and respond by completing and mailing your membership application. I sent this via email to many racers so disregard if you have already received it.
For those on Facebook search for: Northwest Class Racers. We will post schedules, updates, and news on Facebook as well as this forum. We look forward to seeing you at the races. Northwest Class Racer Association PO Box 1874 Richland, WA 99352 |
Re: NWCR Membership
First off you guys and gals thank you for doing this and all your hard work.
I am in. Rule question is there going to be heads up races? I am good either way, just wondering. I will ask this before everybody else does. |
Re: NWCR Membership
Quote:
It is in our list of rules. 6. No heads up runs except by mutual agreement. The choice is up to the racers involved. If both cars are fast and want to prove a point, then race heads up. If one car is considerably slower, by our rule they run off their dial in. Read all the rules in the STICKY above. |
Re: NWCR Membership
Sorry for the dumb question, didn't see the sticky till you pointed it out

Re: NWCR Membership
Thank you to those who have sent in their membership fee.
- Several people have asked why a membership fee is required. Short answer: to guarantee the purse. When we started to organize Northwest Class Racers we contacted other class racing associations around the country. All of them said you will need to charge a membership fee to raise enough funds to cover the purse if car counts are not high enough to fully fund the purse. Many other associations tried racing without a membership fee and found when car counts were low they had to reduce the payout. This led to complaints that they did not pay the purse that was advertised. We want to avoid that scenario. The member fees will also be used to purchase T-shirts and NWCR Stickers. We won't know the size T-shirts you want unless you join. Join now and send in your check. To be clear, everyone involved in creating, promoting, or running Northwest Class Racers are doing this to support the future of Class Racing. Nobody receives any compensation for their efforts. All monies go to the purse. Don't wait, send your check now. Northwest Class Racer Association PO Box 1874 Richland, WA 99352 |
Re: NWCR Membership
We are now able to accept electronic payment of membership fees via Pay Pal or Venmo. Contact Steve Teeter at 3 six 09 seven 93 one 26 to receive payment instructions.

Re: NWCR Membership
Attention Racers: T-shirts are being ordered on June 15 for all members. We are also offering members the chance to buy extra shirts for family, friends, or crew members at $20 each (a $5 discount). As an added bonus our T-shirt vendor will imprint the racers name, class, and car number at no additional charge on each of their shirts. Send payment, name, class, car number, and sizes desired for extra shirts to NWCR, PO Box 1874, Richland, WA 99352. For payment via Pay Pal or Venmo contact Steve Teeter at 3 six 09 seven 93 one 26 to receive payment instructions.
