Here is what was on NHRA.com for the divisional schedule for NHRA.TV.

https://www.nhra.com/news/2022/nhra-...nal-races-free

From what I can see;

9 for Div1
4 for Div2
3 for Div3
5 for Div4
7 for Div5
1 for Div6
2 for Div7

Pretty strong head wind all day. Low 80 degree day and real dry with a dew point in single digits.

First run we had to scale and then go through a under hood inspection. Second pass we had to go over the scales again and then check the fuel.

Under hood inspection? What were they checking? First Q run or first E run?

Re: Las Vegas

Q1 they checked Carburetors mostly, make sure it has a battery I guess and stuff like that. Some guys got one tech guy some got maybe two or more. I'm parked right near so had fun watching who got what.

To be honest I opened the hood and the wind caught my door. By the time I caught it and closed it he told me. "Your good for now!" Other racers told me what they check on theirs.

It is done every race in D4. Quite refreshing that someone that knows what they are looking at is checking things out...just in case.

I hate to bash Vegas, since that’s the only place we have to race in D7, going forward, but it’s pretty disappointing to see a track of that caliber not have a live stream.

I have known Jeff Foster for a "while" and I do know that NHRA takes a big chunk of money for each NHRA Points race right off the top and doing a live stream right takes a lot of time and costs.. Jeff works long hours to make Our racing experience great, so after saying this I suspect ole Great Lawyer Jared You can get the Lawyers association you belong to sponsor the live streaming.By the way, great job getting a law degree can I get a discount if I need your services ?? Thanks in advance for the discount

What happened to the live LVMS tower cam?

It was continuous all of the time.

They are running a racetrack and making a good place to race for their customers. Livestream Viewers are not the customer.

Yes I enjoyed Warren Evans’ videos of the events there.

We have plenty of entries at Vegas. I would fair guess 550 or more. Superstock class was today. The race didn't end last night till nearly today. Back at it at 8 today. Would have been nice they covered it.

Yea,how expensive could that be to have one webcam running? I would think they could sell a few ads and make a little money or at least not have it cost anything.

Hats off to the tower folks. They get the results quickly into drc. They have already up dated the points from the first race. Got paid 20 minutes after losing. Nice Job!

Maybe I wasn’t clear. NHRA.tv supposedly provides a service wherein we can watch a live stream from divisional races. For whatever reason, Las Vegas, one of the premier facilities on the circuit, doesn’t get coverage. I don’t know it’s the track’s fault. I do know that D7, in general, isn’t anywhere near as well covered as others (ie D4). We’re spoiled anymore, with live timing and live streams, but it’s disappointing to see the best track we have out West earn zero coverage.

I would bet more >100 customers at home ( more across the states) that could not make it and would like to keep up live.
Me for one...
