Live from St Louis NMCA 2022

We are finally racing!! In line for test and tune! Supposed to be 93 this afternoon but a breezy 84 now! Going to be a beautiful week! A little rain maybe on Saturday but mostly great!! Come on and join us!

Test and tune for me was a success the car hooked every time. The starting line crew gave us value for the dollar spent, they kept on top of the bald spots. Unlike some sanctioning body officials that say “Looks like you need to work on your car.”

Well you know those "E" body cars have no weight in the back!

All of my extra weight is in the drivers seat. It’s only 130 lbs. extra in the seat.

Thanks to the LS folks for putting on a great feed, taco bar, for us racers and the icing on the cake was free Bud light. We even saw Uncle Al there.

Everyone is parked on pavement. It’s a good car show with a lot of cars that we have never seen. To me the best one I have seen is a 64 Dodge wagon with a Ray Barton Cross Ram Hemi that is perfect. It is so clean and nice it looks like it’s made of plastic. We are looking forward to a fun weekend.

Only 10 stockers made the free run this morning!

I think the cost of diesel is keeping many racers closer to home. The NMCA race in Bradenton was great. The track prep in Florida was the best. Have fun!

Are the results of qualifying posted somewhere? Or would Larry care to share his incrementals?

Frank there is an app from the track that the track uses to send your run data to a smartphone.

It’s race day for us. Some of the larger classes ran first round yesterday afternoon. If anyone has noticed the lack of Mustangs in your home town this weekend don’t worry they are all here. I’ve never seen so many pony cars in one place.

If you get a chance to go to one of these race’s , try it I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
