RIP Ryck Campbell

I learned yesterday that longtime Division 1 Tech Director Ryck Campbell passed away. He was always friendly to me and very approachable. We often compared notes on our respective heart operations. Great guy and he will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends.

One of my best memories was getting Ryck Cambell's approval in tear down. A true professional. He is missed.

Good afternoon to all,
Very sorry to get this message. I have a great deal of respect for Ryck as well as our other Tech Officials. He was straight forward with me and I
never had a problem with Ryck. He'll be another Div. 1 person that will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Prayers and Condolences to his Family and Friends.

Respectfully,
Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA

Ryck's passing hit me kind of hard last night. I often emailed Ryck with questions about the car I am building, and can say that there were no questions left when he sent his response. Clear and concise, nothing left to the imagination, way more than I could say for my phone calls to Glendora. I am forever grateful for his help.

Prayers to his family and friends. I had only met him once or twice, but he remembered my name. He was an important man and that left me impressed. Condolences to all who knew him well.

Ryck was always very helpful. I enjoyed chatting with him when he was at the track. He was very insightful and full of detailed information. He also knew who was stretching the rules and who was severing them. Thoughts and prayers to Ryck's family & friends.

RIP Ryck- you will be dearly missed by many!

In the 80's ASRA had 2 stk/ss races annually at ESTA/ Cicero NY, RC was the tech man and that is when many of us met him. Great guy and friend, did not see each other often, but still a true friend. On a tech level, he was what we need, would toss you if you were wrong, congratulate you when you did good, and never played favorites.

Tough loss ,see you on the other side my friend

I met Rick the same way Dave did. The first time he was all over my car in the tec line. I thought to myself who the heck is this local tec guy. Like everyone else when Rick became a tec guy for D1 one he was one of the better one. He was trained by one of the best good guys Curt. He will be missed. God speed my friend . Barry
