Mopar Wheel Alignment

Who is the guru for stock front suspension Mopar Stock Eliminator wheel alignment in or around Ohio?

Look in the BIG BOOK and read about toe change throughout suspension travel. You may have to modify, fabricate or adjust some stuff that is not easily adjustable.
Good luck.

I believe we have a copy of that. I'll take a look.
Thank you

The last time I looked at my Big Book it was in shreds and that was a long time ago!

One of the best tools I have is a toe gage that Gary Jennings made for me. We check a few times a year.

wish you were close to NY I would take care of it for you, it's not just as simple as putting car on a rack, I have never aligned a Mopar that didn't have terrible bump steer.

I learned how to do proper wheel alignments by reading that book.

Larry, would you please post a photo of that gage. Thanks.

It’s not top secret go fast stuff but since it’s Gary’s work I will refer you to him. Gary has guided me for 40 plus years working on the Cuda, the truck, the Private Lee, and Dumbo.

The gage looks like a football goal post that’s adjustable on one end without the part that goes in the ground. Don’t forget to put some feet on it so it will stand by itself.

The toe part is easy , it’s the toe change through suspension travel that takes a little time.

We haven't messed with it yet. Waiting on a cage to be installed in the car first. We have the car taken down to a bare shell.

But! I have been reading the big book and laying under the car thinking if that counts?

It was updated a few times...I think the last big big book was in '82. The more recent publications were the "Chassis" books...9th Edition is the newest. Doesn't seem to be any real changes though from the '82 big book and the 9th edition. Still extremely relevant info for doing an alignment despite the age.

I'm far from being a Mopar guy but the "Big Book" is well worth owning no matter what you race.

Doh! I had that book when I had my '60 Plymouth (even had a picture of it in there). Got rid of it when I sold it.

I believe the book is Direct Connection Performance Book. I think they were $10 when I got mine in 1980. I think they are on cd now.

We had it out last year and was pleased with its performance. But we quickly learned our redneck roll bar wasn't cutting it.
