Herb Jr

Mike does all out big race fliers and will be doing more in 2008 now that we are sort of ahead of the curve so to speak.

LOL, Yea. He told me to not call him Mr. Beard, as that was his father.

Check out the "KID's" business cards too...premo, at a very reasonable price... I always get comments when I hand mine out. It's pretty cool to have the nicest Business Card at Chambrer of Commerce functions. His business card has helped promote my reputation at the Chamber as "The Local Speed Business". Everyone knows I sell "Speed". He also has an eye for busines logo's.

Adger Smith, on Bob's log in...

Michael does super work on graphics. He did the one on our wagon, and it looks great. I don't know how to post it, but Mike if you read this would you post it for me and let the prople see your talent other than DRacing.

Re: Mr.Beard thanks!

Thank y'all! One of these days, I may get around to putting all my customer proofs up on my website.

Here's the proof for Father Time's wagon. I've got to say, this was probably one of my favorite projects!

I appreciate the word-of-mouth. I don't do any advertising. If I did, I might be too busy to be able to race! :D (or spend way to much time on here...) The last two years, work flow has been almost perfect, year round.

Thanks again,

looks like i will be spending some more $ with you, i will need new #'s. call ya soon, BTW michael does exelent work. i am very pleased with his quality and short turnaround time.

Michael Beard 12-20-2007 02:09 PM

Re: Mr.Beard thanks!

Thanks Keith, but I will asmit that turnaround time can be hit and miss at times, particularly in the middle of the season when I'm on the road a lot, but I do try. The most important aspect of what I do is that every single order is customized for the particular customer. I enjoy working with full-color printed vinyl, since you can get so much detail into everything, instead of just 1- or 2-color cut vinyl where they give you choices of "block, slanted, or script" typestyles.

I designed the flyer for the World Footbrake Challenge. Goob just posted it on the other thread... http://classracer.com/classforum/sho...?t=6396&page=2 This is race is a must! Put it on your schedule!

Re: Mr.Beard thanks!

i just put it on my calender, it will cost more than the entry fee for fuel to get there but who knows maybe gas prices will go down.... (yea right)

Re: Mr.Beard thanks!

I'll have to echo the sentiments from the other post. Michael has the uncanny ability to make the details jump off the page of a flyer or make a vehicle come to life with graphics. I think one of the things that's missing today is racers don't use paint schemes or graphics enough to give the vehicles a distinct personality. I think one of the things that helps make our Carolina Gassers Series and Classic Gear Jammers Series so successful is the spectators can differentiate one car from the next. Michael keep up the good work.

Somebody say Carolina Gassers?

Tidbit o' trivia... I designed the Biondo Racing Products logo at the top of this page (although the original was green) when I was fresh out of college and bored one day. I didn't understand why their old decals said "BRP" when everybody called referred to the company as "Biondo"... so I threw together some ideas, and the rest, as they say, is history. My payment came in the form on a handheld practice tree, which I still carry with me in the car to this day. Thanks, guys!

Re: Mr.Beard thanks!

He did a real nice looking license plate with my business logo. Made the back of my Camaro "something to look at"
Beard, can you post a picture of that plate. I deleted all the proofs & selections you sent when I was picking the design... Yes, he gave me some choices in the design... :~) Show the fender decal too..

Re: Mr.Beard thanks!

How about any of you racers that have graphics by Michael on your cars would you please post them if you could and let everyone see what quality work this man does. The one on the wagon was the one and only proof he made for us and when the Boss, my wife saw it she said look no further that was the one she wanted. He put it on at the Carolina Race. Great job Mickey

Sorry, been gone over the holidays, and was internet-less for over a week. Didn't even suffer withdrawal! Now I have to play catch-up...

Adger's logo and lettering on the car... don't have a proof of the license plate I did for ya, but that was nothing more than the logo on a plain plate, anyhoo.
