"Live From" NMCA Rockingham Dragway
 

Hey guys, we are live at the Rock. NMCA has come to Rockingham Dragway. If anyone is on the fence about heading to Rockingham, you should be on your way. Weather is perfect, and NMCA is all about the sportsman racers. I know there is a D1 race going at Cecil County, its their first race of the year... but you D2 guys should give NMCA a shot. Stock and Super Stock run separately, and if you run 2 cars, its not an issue as they run other class in between. Pay it similar to a NHRA division race.

Micro Strategies is the sponsor for Stock and Super Stock NMCA, and they are also the sponsor of the NHRA National Open's In D1. Anthony Bogiovanni, the CEO is also a racer and has a passion for drag racing.

I know schedules are tight and many don't have the time, but if you want an alternative to NHRA and there is a NMCA race near you, you owe yourself a weekend of racing where you come first... I promise you will not be disappointed.

I did find a few cars out today, its a test and tune day. $40 for the day, that's a good deal for sure. Also check out the video riding through the pits at the Rock...

Wow !!! $40 bucks for test n tune is a bargain for sure as its $125 here at Cecil .

Good morning everyone, We got some rain over night, but the sun is out... track drying underway. The weather for today, tomorrow and Sunday looks good with temps in the upper 70's. I'll be back later with photos from Stock and Super Stock action. I will do another ride through the pits to give you an idea of the happenings at the NMCA. I hope to get an in car camera, if I can find and a willing driver.

Very cool, we get two more qualifiers tomorrow... and the weather looks great.

Photos are Stock getting their first time shot, and than 2 qualifier's later today... what a way to treat the sportsman. Be back later with Super Stock. I am not racing today, hope to get lots of media out there for everyone.

Looks to be Raymond Roland. Pretty good racer from around the Carolina’s. It’s an IHRA crate motor combo. NMCA allows both sides to compete. Wish I could’ve made it over but completely overwhelmed at work.

Hey Keith, not enough time to get photos and race today. They are moving things pretty fast. We get 2 more qualifying shots tomorrow. I'm trying to get most of my media work done today.

We are o hold right now for some very light rain. I was waiting for Super Stocks 2nd qualifier, but who knows If they will get one tonight. I will have some more photos up in a bit... Enjoy Stock in the lanes, and thanks to Micro Strategies for sponsoring Stock and Super Stock this season.

Good morning all, it should be a good day of racing, with a slight chance of rain late this afternoon. Stock should have had their first round and Super Stock is not far behind. I never got a chance to get down the track, and I had to get home today, so I left this morning.

The car count for Stock was 18 and Super Stock was 14 I believe. If you are looking for a different experience, you may want to check out the NMCA. My next race will be at Charlotte in a few weeks.

Actually, it is now a small block 347. Up until November 2022, we were running a 302V8. Yes, it is Raymond Roland.
