Hey guys, its Wednesday and we just pulled into zMax Dragway. We are in the stacking area, I would say there is around 70 rigs here, we are number 65. Parking starts at 8am tomorrow. I will be back with a another video getting parked and I will take a ride through the pits.

Hey guys, parking went smooth for the most part. They started at 8am, and the stacking area was emptied in a few hours. I will have some more video up later tonight, for now here are some photos from the pits...

Good morning all... weather for today, very nice and similar to last week at Maple Grove. I will post numbers below. Stock is out first, We get 2 qualifiers today and go into first round tomorrow at 8AM.

I'll be back later with photos from todays action.

Hey guys, a quick note. Stock and Super Comp 1st round after the pros run. There is a chance of rain in the morning, so they moved us up. Super Stock and Super Gas may also get round 1 in tonight as I assume it will be late.

I have a video in the lanes for Super Stock coming up later.

First round of stock with U/SA McNeal Freeman. Live timing has him crossing at 26 mph for the win. Good Brakes!!! Eddie must have felt like he passed a parked car.

Interesting tidbit from Charlotte: The quickest ET out of SS & Stock combined was a Stocker! Chris Vang's FS/AA Camaro ran an 8.345, quicker than both of the SS/AM's of Robbie Draughon (8.417) & Chuck Gallagher (8.437). Ken Miele's FS/AA was 4th at 8.453.

Also of note was the 5.821 of Doug Winters' AA/PM in Comp. My gut feeling is that may be the quickest Sportsman run in history.

Good morning all, I'm in the lanes for rd2. They rushed us up here with a slight mist in the air, and now we sit paired up waiting. It looks like it could rain any minute.

I had just put my car back in the trailer, NHRA guy came around beeping his horn for stock, I said it’s raining! His response was if you want to race get up there they are calling cars to the lanes……so I drove up with my wipers on I had no choice…..assholes

They called us back to the lanes.... its misting out and I think there are 2 pair in the lanes... I'm waiting this time.

I'm at the 1000' and it has finally stopped misting so it shouldn't be too much longer they've been dragging and now they're putting some glue down.

Thank you Ken for all you do. The pictures and updates are great. I, especially like the videos because I get to see some highways that I may never get to drive on. The driving through the pits are cool because we all get to see the pits up close.

p.s. I love the highway muppets, they are everywhere. Wish I could drive without seeing them - - good luck on that.

We had a good shower come through but it has quit now. They have been working to dry the track for atleast 45 minutes or so I guess they plan to continue with sportsman tonight but we haven't got any indication on a plan.
