We are here waiting in line to get parked! It should be a fun 10 days with 4 races for one tow! Looking forward to the National event, $10,000 race, then double divisional! More later!

Mike Cotten broke an axel in his Duster and Paula was number one in the first session. Mike will not make first round. Kevin Helms had some excitement first hit an oil line leek put some stuff down and sent Kevin on a ride. We lost Q3. The fireworks show was very good. Track was ok for us.

More heads up Latino vs Romero. Romero went red by .001. Everybody that races against those cars were ready for a real blood letting. Maybe next time.
I brought two converters for Lyn Smith to try in his 55 Chevy and Lyn and I race next round. Patsy and Bonnie sit together in the stands. We will have some fun!

Well if you have been checking DRC you know that Lyn beat us! And he won this morning so he is in the semifinals this afternoon! Good luck! Go and win this thing!!

So since we are done with this race, we can get ready for the next one! We get to move over to the drag strip instead of the round track. So when they allow us to we will move. Schedule says around 3 tomorrow. They will allow the racers that ran the National to move first, then the new racers that are stacked to moye in around 5!

Class Racer Revival.2 should be some great races with everyone running for $10,000 on Tuesday!

Then on Wednesday starts the double divisional!! Great racing ahead!

It is Monday morning and we just talked to Ms Sally and she said the ones who want to move will start about 3 as advertised. They are clearing out the pro pits now. Also she said that the cones and tape that appeared overnight are also being removed! So she said she wants it orderly and polite! I’m sure that’s going to happen!! She said we can begin buying credentials at noon at the red building as you go in if you go on golfcart . Or D3 trailer. Don’t know just where to pay for Class Racer Revival race.

Well they parked all night and they just called up stock for our one and only qualifier of the day for CRR.2. It is 63 degrees now but going up to 89 this afternoon! Today should be a full day of racing with completing the entire race in one day! $10,000 for everyone except TS and TD and they are running for $5000.

Well 89 stockers went down. That was less than I expected. There is a lot more here that didn’t enter this race. I don’t know if there is a ladder or how they will match us up. I will go up and see if there is a sheet.

Been watching MMTV all morning and was watching the live feeds from everyone waiting to park last night. I really thought there would be 500 cars for this event but, as myself, Ken & Tim, Brian & Lee, Mike Beard have all found out it’s not about the money obviously. I’m sure everyone in line not racing were trying to get a decent parking spot for the weekend. I think I might have seen 9 Comp cars to win $10,000 and two days before they had 25…just baffles my mind.

I think 400 total entries for a single day event, ON A TUESDAY, is pretty dang good and hats off to the promotion team for assuming the risk and having it work for them.

I haven’t heard a total, was trying to keep track but, this work thing keeps getting in the way….lol. Hats off to the team for a good car count, just hope they make out well in the long run. The sponsors are a big help in helping put up those payouts especially when the counts are so-so. I was in that same seat back in July paying out $5,000 to the .90 classes (year before $10k) and had 373 cars for a one day sportsman race at Maple Grove which we all say that count is great but, the rental costs at the venues smack you around in the long run. In the long run we had Super Pro and Pro and they accounted for 1/2 the car count.

Thank you. I see the ladders and q sheets but I didn't know if they were posting the round winners anywhere... you know like in the old days when drag race central used to do it... :) I'm having a hard time keeping up with the announcer and I'm not familiar with all the cars and drivers so it's much easier to see it in print. You guys will all be old one day and then you'll understand. LOL

Well it started raining during Top Dragster. They sent them back to pits, then it quit and they brought them back. Finished them, Comp, and Top Dragster. Then they did clean up runs for anyone who hadn’t had a run today . Then they cancelled out the rest of the evening . So everyone got one run and we go straight into eliminations in the morning. Local weather looks like rain until about 1 pm. After it finishes raining it is supposed to be great cool weather for 3 more days!

Today should be good, four heads-up race in Stock first round, A/S, B/SA, D/SA, and F/SA. No such luck in Super Stock.

With some racers working on their average and Q2 rained out a few did not qualify for the 128 car field but they did get a grade point l think. Looking at Q1 racers came from near and far to get this race in. The quality of cars are very good top to bottom. Just walking around looking at the cars and workmanship gives me ideas on how to improve my car. It’s the little things that add up.

I get to race one of my mentors first round Kenny Schindler in his Art’s Used Parts SS/DA Corvette. Leo when he was announcing made up the tag line for Art’s place “If we ain’t got it you don’t need it”

It’s stopped raining and they’re drying the track and pits. The weather looks good the rest of the weekend. So y’all come on over and play. If you’re a stocker better bring your A game. 140 cars trying for a128 spots. Or run super stock we still have room for 38 more. It’s a great track that is well run
