Re: my pic's, i was bored and did a scrap book
both the 65 & 68 Dodges where fctory race cars, Mary Ann's father bought the 65 Dodge off of Wes Koogle's widow after he had died of cancer, and the 68 car came straight from the factory to them, as she along with Shirley Shayhan was the first two females to get a factory ride, way before Judy or Shirley Muldowney days.

Re: my pic's, i was bored and did a scrap book
As a kid I can remember Wes Koogle racing at Kil-Kare in 1965. I happened to be there with Len Silvers and he had a 65 Dodge HEMI called QUIC SILVER and Wes told him that night he had cancer. I remember when he set the S/SA record in 1965. If my memeory is close it was 11:27@128 mph on what a 10.5 tire or all you stuff in the stock fenderwell.

Thanks Joe - your stroll down memory lane made our weekend. I especially like the picture of MaryAnn in her go-go boots standing in front of the old "Buckeye Hooker". Lots of good memories for us all. Buck
