Probably announcing the new title sponsor
was told by official they were moving to indy, maybe that...
Or maybe they decided to fix nationals and make divisionals great again by eliminating stock, super stock, and all the .90 classes and replace them with street outlaws, electric vehicles and jr dragsters!

IRP is going to get a big make over including tearing down the tower and moving the entrance to the west side which will be the new Pro pits. Sportsmen pits will probably be all the way to the north or on the east side. My second guess would be the Pros are getting a pay increase and the Sportsmen are getting nothing. LOL

Whatever the news is, I'd be surprised if it does anything to affect sportsman racers in a good way, if anyway at all. But you never know, until Thursday.

The France Family (NASCAR) and Tony Stewart will take over control and operations of NHRA PRO series events effective with the 2025 season. The Sportsman Series (LODRS) will continue to be operated by a downsized NHRA.

There was actually a similar agreement between The NHRA and HD Partners back in 2007 but the stockholders shot it down!

Whoever coined this "One of the biggest announcements in NHRA history" should be fired on the spot.

A bigger piece of news is that the "Dirty Mo" Mooresville is no longer an NHRA track. Sad news indeed.

Force's recent talks about an "exit strategy" must've made NHRA nervous. They've found a new golden goose to hitch their wagons to and they're making a big deal about it.

I mean if there was big news for sportsman racers - Thanks to Laris Insurance the Cajun NHRA Sportsnationals are back at No Problem Raceway the weekend after the Gators, so you can mark your calendars for that which is March 15-17.

I can't believe that was the "Big Announcement", how lame.....who gives a s--t. At least the PDRA had some real news, they secured Red Line Oil as their series sponsor.
