Bystanders dont know the difference. 1320racer is the idiot.

I realize making this post feeds into his ego, and gives him attention he doesnt deserve, but maybe if we all stop responding to his comments and completely IGNORE him, maybe he will go away.

like him or not he is very good for traffic on a site. drr is dead since they ran him off from there. i call him 1290 because that is the spot on the track where he runs out of talent.

my favorite 1290 quote is "you aint got ch1t and ain't done ch1t". he gives me that one all of the time.

ep-i dont take up for him but he is a pretty good dude in person.

Exactly. And nobody comes here for that. Justifying or enabling antisocial behavior doesn't make you a more tolerant, understanding person. It makes you complicit. If the guy did that in your home to your guests, you'd tell him to leave and never come back. He has no more right to be on this site than he does to be in your home.

I believe Ed to be a really good guy and he certainly knows his stuff but what he doesn't know is how to fit in with his contemporaries.
Despite the fact that is behavior deserves contempt, name calling (of which I've been guilty of) is not cool.

And that may well be. There are many who speak differently in person than they do on line. In a pit, he would probably be fine, I just don't come on here to listen to continuous arguing over anything.

Used to ford/chev/dodge bickering back and forth and everyone is adult to understand there's good and bad in all. But if one person starts constantly putting down something other than what they prefer it's funny at first but after a while it's just boring. Boring to see, boring to jump a few responses to get back to the topic at hand, just boring.

I don't want to read about fishing, or concrete work or the flowers you grew, I want to read about S/SS and that's it. I choose whether to click on a thread called "my concrete work" or not. But having it brought up in 10 different threads which have nothing to do with concrete???

Just my .02 as a nobody, watching the shyte show ensue.

I must be the exception. I used to really enjoy DRR but 1290 and a few select others absolutely ruined it for me. EVERY thread he/they were involved in turned into a train wreck. I find it hard to believe that anyone goes there or here more often than normal to seek out the BS.

I disagree, DRR is not dead. While a hand full of members have disappeared; the members, non- members/lurkers are still there. The lurkers always seem to outnumber the members at any given time by a good many. It appears to follow on CR.

You are confused, no one ran him off; he's solely responsible for that!

1290 has no talent anywhere on the track, he's a glorified seat warmer.

2BKING knows 1320 is still on DRR, he's just lurking/playing chicken little. That being said, I do miss having him being an active/open poster.

Rest assured, there are little to no train wrecks since 1320 departed DRR. The they's are contributing to threads with no name calling, berating & threats just to name a few.

2BKING seems to remember Kenny Anderson contributing to the train wrecks.
