Hey guys, we are live at the 4Wide... zMax Dragway, Charlotte, NC. We are in the stacking area. There about 60 to 70 rigs here. Parking starts at 8am tomorrow. The weather looks great for this weeks race. Looks like we get 2 qualifiers early Friday, first round on Saturday morning followed by 3 more rounds after they get done with the pros. So it will be a round robin late night for round winners.

Hey guys, we started parking at 8am sharp and within a few hours they cleared the stacking area. I will have video up later, but I did find some cars out early in the day to get some photos. I'll be back in a bit with video getting parked, riding through the pits and some cool video of the FX cars, I think there are nine of them competing here with some very cool paint schemes from the good old days of pro stock.

Ken, do you know which lanes Stock and Super Stock are qualifying in tomorrow? They split them up one year and definitely got in my steps that day.

They are on both sides, but most are on the pro side.

Good morning all, its a little chilly... 55 as I type, I will post the numbers below. Super Street is out first at 8am, followed by Stock. We get 2 shots this morning, and our day is done. I will be back later with photos and more video later today.

Good morning everyone, The weather this morning is not as cool, and we are looking at about the same conditions as yesterdays Q1 for first round in Stock. Super Street out first for round 1 at 8am followed by Stock round 1. For the winners they don't get to run until the Pros finish along with, Alcohol, and so on... you guys get it. 3 more round at the end of the day.

The internet has been spotty, so I may not be able to post until tonight.

On DRC E1 it shows Taylor D/SA over Raynor H/SA on Live Timing. It shows Taylor -.025 under dial of 10.79. It shows Raynor -.005 under dial of 11.44. I wonder what happened for both racers to be green and the one that broke out the least was the looser.

Larry, I think it was listed wrong on live timing and drc. I know when Robbie Butler ran Mike Mcmahon live timing and drc both had the dials in listed wrong. Thats what Robbie told me when I asked him about it.

Ken, I liked that FX video. The cars looks great, and run real well too. I saw Bell's Mustang at Vegas last fall. Got a picture of me with it since I was wearing a vintage Bob Glidden tshirt.

I see Steve Comella is in the Semis... doing a great job. Hope he wins.

The dial was wrong more than once on our race, wrong when we went up there, wrong after they fixed it, then a heads up race before they got it right. We both shut our cars off. Really hard to see the scoreboards and they didn’t have the dial in boards up.

The first two rounds of Stock and Super Stock there are several .000 lights and also several really poor ones as well .1+ and .2+. Anything to report about this?

Apparently I missed NHRA's declaration that Mountain Motor Pro Stock is now a PRO class, guess the Pro Stock that they have fashioned to make 'relevant' by mandating FI isn't quite good enough after all. I'm seriously confused by their moves to add new classes and a myriad of exhibitions and at the same time cut quotas on classes that have paid their bills forever.
