Bowling Green is the place to be for Stk/SS racers. Saturday August 17 is the Danny Coffman 5 Grand to win combo race. Sunday August 18 is a 2 Grand to win combo race. On Thursday August 22 ( the day before the D-3 points race) the Clay Jones memorial race pays 5 grand to the combo winner. Racers, keep in mind that there is a new Buc ees at exit 38 on I- 65 (just ten miles from the Bowling Green exit)…

I have not seen one yet. Keep in mind there is usually a Test and Tune on Thursday also. Sounds like a BIG day …

It would be helpful to know if new entries are accepted for the Clay Jones Combo (can?t tell if this earlier rained out event was partially ran) and if you get a Q run for the combo without buying a T&T ticket. If memory serves there will be a Blue million cars testing.

Love the track, sure it will be well supported as folks get ready for Indy.

I cannot imagine that they would not let new entries in for it. We did not even get a time run in for that race back in May. I am also curious if they will give us a time run or not. Hopefully they clear that up sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know if the time trial/Q run will start at 1pm on Thursday? or will eliminations start then. Just trying to see if I can get there in time to run the race

Typically there are two qualifying rounds starting at 10 am. There is a pairing sheet posted in plenty of time before being called to the lanes. I have gotten there late before and only ran the second qualifier. Drivers will find their competitor. First round is usually at 1:00.

Ricky Decker was the big Winner this Sunday at Beech Bend park winning the Danny Coffman combo. Todd Ewing was the RU..:There were 61 cars ….

The Clay Jones Memorial $5k Combo race is open to new entries on Thursday. There will be one time run before the race begins. We are following the race format that was scheduled in May.


First round will be random pairing with no heads up. Heads up runs possible once we are laddered. Will ladder rnd 2 based on rnd 1 results.


Test & Tune will be ran between rounds of the combo race.


Test & Tune for $100 or Race for $5k for $105
