Well, since Larry Hill is home in Hickory,Ky. I thought I would start the thread. I arrived in beautiful Bowling Green,Ky. at 2 am this morning. We are stacking as of 9am and the weather is absolutely wonderful. Around 2 pm we are scheduled to enter the track. For those keeping score, Don Kennedy is on the pole….

Another beautiful day in Bowling Green with a forecasted high of 83 degrees . Today will be a busy day with the track operated T and T AND the Clay Jones Memorial combo. The BUZZ through the pits is everyone is looking forward to the season debut of DUMBO.

Just got word it was the foxbody mustang. Hopefully lots of round wins for all the foxbody?s this weekend.

The Buth's have 3 Foxbody Mustangs. Former Steve Sullivan's red LX, A gray Mustang GT and the Turbo 4cyl GT. Ellis went to the finals last night in the gray GT and Travis in the LX went to the semi's.

Our 2 hits for the day are complete . The 3 cars that I watched closely slowed 7-8 hundredths from Q1 …..Q2 weather was 93.9….36 per cent humidity 29.68 Baro. 1.0610 correction 3050 adj altitude AND 88 grains. Still no DUMBO . I just hope that Larry had not succumbed to any OLD MAN mistakes while reassembling DUMBO.

The Buths are nice guys. I was laying on the ground under my Corvette struggling with the rear suspension when they drove up. Next thing I know they were laying on the ground under the car with me and spent about an hour there helping me. Thanks guys! Mike McMahan 2543 G/SA

TT3 is in the books . It was 81 degrees. 52 percent humidity 29.73 baro. 1.0426 correction. Adj alt is 2167 and the grains were 81. We added a few cars to the ladder including Good ole Captain Jack who made his 4th run of the year …. I would like to give a shout out to former West coast hitter and track reporter Extraordinaire Charles Norton…. I fondly remember the year Charles came east and went DEEP into eliminations at this race….

Another Beautiful but WARM day here in Bowling Green ,Ky. We are scheduled to start at 9AM with Super Street. Numerous competitors here are still in HOPE of entering INDY. Only time will tell ….
