What Do You Race?

I'm primarily a bracket racer but have been blessed with racing numerous different types of vehicles. I choose all options in the poll.

That being said, I don't come to CR for bracket racing; I do try to post about it. I primarily come because I've always been a fan of Stock & 2nd Super Stock.

Re: What Do You Race?

I expected to see Stock & Super Stock in the top spots. I mainly wanted to see where the bracket racers fell in on CR.

I screwed up when I when I chose all options; I haven't driven/raced a Stock Eliminator car. Hopefully I can change that in the near future!

Re: What Do You Race?

I purchased a 1979 AMC spirit stock eliminator car at the end of last season and have just finished going through it.
I have raced 66 Dodge coronets and a 67 coronet wagon in brackets and Nostalgia Super Stock for quite some time.
My plan is to race the stocker and learn what I can this year and put our daughter in it next year as she graduates out of Jr Street racing.

All of the above, all the time. This year I'm planning to run Stock, Super Street, bracket race, small tire heads up race, and outlaw index race.

Did you buy Al Wilson?s car? Good luck with it, Al was a true gentleman and genuine nice guy, it would be great to see it out again. Orlando less than two months away, look to be out again myself.

Re: What Do You Race?

Yes sir, I did. I raced with Al for a long time in the Nostalgia Super Stock class at the NMCA events and southern nostalgia stuff as well. He was a very nice man for sure.

The car needed a few things but it is ready to go.

You Super Stock guys need to put on the rally caps! Not that it was a competition but a poll.

Almost exclusively brackets in the past, and brackets again when I come back. Stock was a LONG time ago so I can't count it in the poll.

Been out of racing for 20+ years and trying to decide on putting together a lower class stocker or taking the plunge on Yaco's Escort
