Is there a way on this forum to block people so their posts do not show up?

Go to "user cp" on the upper left part of the page under the advertisements. Access the settings and options part and go to Ignore list to block posts and enter the user name or names you don't want to view.

Using the blocking feature was the best thing I did! It makes reading posts much more interesting and you can then miss/skip over the entries you prefer not to see.

Mr. Ed,
I say this with this greatest respect. Even though I have not raced in years, I realize what goes into race cars and what a commitment it takes to field a successful racing endeavor. (or even an unsuccessful one just for the enjoyment of it)
I don't think some of these folks disagree with or dislike your comments so much as they do the manner and dismissive tone you sometimes take. I gather that you are a straight-up, direct person and your knowledge is garnered through actual experience, but would it kill you to adopt a more diplomatic (for lack of a better word) attitude on a popular forum which we all enjoy? Yes, I will not change who I am for those here whose egos are easy bruised and for those here who hate because of their insecurities and jealousy. Who I am has served me very well in life and the key to my many successes.

I wish more people would use it on this site. I know a lot of the members are retirement age and should be enjoying life instead of being in internet battles and someone calling them old and waiting to die. The older you get the less you want someone telling you so. I worry about some of you arguing with someone that gets you close to over revving, vapor locking and blowing a gasket. I just turned 60 and I’ve wanted to blow a gasket. So if you should be enjoying life avoid those battles because I think they are his life enjoyment. If I’m on your list for this opinion that’s ok also. People with our passion is getting smaller everyday so we don’t need anyone helping to decrease it.

You see what you want to see and refuse to acknowledge the history that preceded it. There are no victims here, only willing participants that want to debate because they can’t handle opinions and advice that doesn’t conform with theirs!

I do think there are victims because you are a battle expert and you know with the right insult it’s game on. But my battles are over because I have more important things to get revved up over.

Sorry to burst your bubble dip**** but I've raced a lot and won at the national level several times. Finished top 10 in national points mulitple times and accomplished more than your old broken down fireturd ever will. I have an acquaintance that won one of the fling races last year and asked him if he saw any white fireturds in the pits. He said he didn't and reminded me that these races were for serious bracket races.

knowledge on any subject on this board may have been been wrong. If not no matter how sure you are yourself you may need to look inward and reevaluate.

as is always the case, the wannabe street outlaw with a cutup shytbox bracket car who's only reason for posting here is to engage me and stir the pot, is WRONG again! It's crystal clear who's fragile ego's are in turmoil, the haters, fueled by fear, insecurities and jealousy, who feel threatened by anyone who bodily expresses views, opinions and advice that conflicts or challenges their own. It makes them uncomfortable so their answer because they can't ban me, can't race me, because most of them don't race anymore, some never did, is to block my posts. It's both comical and pathetic!
