Hey guys, we are live from Bristol Dragway. I wanted to hit the road early so we got here yesterday. I see we are down to 40 in Stock and 39 Super Stock. Saturday does not look good, but if you have ever raced here, you know the weather is not very predictable, so you never know.

I'll be back tomorrow, with part 2 getting parked and riding through the pits.

another thing the government did, take away our freedom to wear a seatbelt or not. It should be our choice. I feel the same way with helmets on motorcycles. It should be your choice. Flame away.

Do people a favor and tell them not to set up near the creek. If it rains hard the water will rise into their trailers and motorhomes.

I did find a few cars out, but with only 75 Stockers and Super Stockers combined, they are hard to find. I'll have more tomorrow, in the lanes and on the track.

Stock is out first at 8AM.

Good morning all, and its looking like a good day for racing as the weather looks good for most of the day. Tomorrow, well who knows... one day at a time. Stock is out first at 8AM... the schedule is a little different than usual. Super Stock will not follow Super Comp. Super Stock will run later, after Top Sportsman.

Stock and Super Stock done with Q1. Stock up shortly for Q2. Some shots at fuel check in Stock. I will have a video in the lanes with Super Stock shortly.

Larry, the qualifying is up on DRC, it has been corrected.

Malibu wagon is a 350 as far as I know.

I'd call California and ask, I'm sure you have the number. Doesn't really matter if the run was disqualified, if its on the final Q sheet, if its entered into the Q data base, or even whether the event ladder was generated including it, as long as it was on the live timing you should be good...

The Stock eliminator ladder features a possible Final round match-up between the two slowest cars in the field, Bob Bender's O/SA wagon, and McNeil Freeman's V/SA "Taxi". :cool:

I apologize if I jinxed them by mentioning it. McNeil had a damn good race.

Good morning everyone. Its been raining on and off all night and into the morning, but there looks to be a window for today. We may get at least a 1 or 2 rounds in today. The rain has stopped, but no word on when they will call us. I assume Stock will be first out when the track is dried.

Hey guys, Stock got 11 pairs down the track and the rains came. Its very light, but enough to put things on hold. The rain will be with us for another hour according to the the radar. The rest of the day does not look bad, but you never with so much moister in the air.

We starting racing again with the pro's around 12:30. They got all the pros done for there Q3. Pro Mod just finished, and a small cell came through, so we are on hold with another rain delay.

We are still scheduled to run sportsman later today, but it could change. The pro's are supposed to get their 4th qualifier.

Good morning folks, they have not posted a schedule yet. The last info we got was Stock out at 9:30 to finish round one. I assume they will run 1 round of sportsman before the pros come out.

The weather this morning is cloudy but no rain. It rained on and off most of the night. I think we should be able to get the race in for today. The forecast looks okay, but who knows.

Its been a long day. 3 rounds of pros and Super Stock got their first round in around 6... well almost. 6 pair went down and the rains came. A quick heavy rain and we are on hold. They will finish the pros, back to Super Stock, but after that who knows.

They just canceled the sportsman... they will finish up at the JEGS SPORTSnationals at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

Well that?s going to suck trying to fit that in with the sports and a division race that weekend. I am assuming they allowed people to drop out because of the rain and delay

I think they only ran one full round of stock and super comp. They have the entire sportsman race to compete.
