Media: Prop Gun ?

Re: Media: Prop Gun ?
Understand completely but have to wonder if it was James Woods who held the gun would NEWSMAX have covered it in a similar fashion?

Re: Media: Prop Gun ?
An Associated Press report from 2016 determined that from 1990 until the time of publication, at least 43 people died on sets in the U.S. and more than 150 had been left with life-altering injuries. I keep hearing the term “accidental discharge”, there is no such thing. How did live ammo get introduced into this situation. There is a huge difference between a blank and an actual “this is going to kill something” round. It looks like this industry needs a serious overhaul in it’s safety procedures.

Let's see what happens as this thing plays out.
I think John Schneider explained very well how it should be on set and how this situation should be handled. Will be interesting to see where the media takes it. |

Gun Safety Commandment #1 is that whenever you receive a gun, regardless of whether you are told it is unloaded, is to treat it as loaded. You immediately open the action and verify the status. YOU, not some other person who tells you it is OK. Take personal responsibility.

Take personal responsibility.[/QUOTE]
Demwits don't do that, they blame everyone else for the problems they cause, easy peasy |
