396/375 Alum Vs Iron Heads....
.....just curious on which may be the better '69 camaro stocker combo. alum is at 395, and the iron shows 390. one of my friends may be interested in jumping in the fray:Dand I knew this would be the place to ask......

He he wants to jump in, I would tell him to run and dive out because both combo's are going to get hit with atleast 5 hp this summer. Thanks Jimmy Defrank and Mr. Stinnet ...Both awesome cars!

LOWER the INDEXes....that is the fix
the same index for the past 30 years...LOWER the INDEXES and you fix the problem...lower them at least .20 and even better .50 and start racing again, bring back class racing the way it is suppose to be. |

What if you have heads that have not been acid ported and stock lifters and you can still go to 8000 rpm?
