Thanks for the kind words old buddy. Yes I wanted to race real bad!!!!! Thanks for the use of the parts. It is definatly a throw back to the past. Maybe they will let me claim it as a nostalgia super stocker LOL. Thanks to all of the guys here on the board for helping me find some parts to get the car back together to run these association races. Smitty, I will be running SS/IA. Hopefolly it will run some 10.70's in Reynolds. As for my driving like Jay said I havn't been behind the wheel for almost 2 years so I will need a few of you to screw up against me to get to the winners circle. I will look forward to racing with you all again. Should be a great time in reynolds. I hope everyone supports the program.

See ya at the races, Mike

Jay,

We fired the A&S Motorports/Smith 275/313 HP Cleveland on the 4th of July; John Douglas' neighbor came over the next day and said it was the most beautiful sound he ever heard. This thing does sound wicked and believe it, I want be backing down from anyone because the only thing that can happen is that someone will be watching some tail lights, hopefully it's not me.

If my my package arrives by Wednesday I might take it to Sunshine for some test runs.
Now, I'm not sure if those were Mike's words but to anyone who wants to see me I'm not hard to find.
The same way Mike can get some heads up in SS/IA you can get some in GT/EA Jay, all I have to do is change the year of the car and bam I'm in GT/EA. Maybe you might need to look over your shoulder now LOL, we can do this before Reynolds. Sunshine or Bradenton.

It's all fun though guys, I am really looking forward to running you guys and seeing how I stack up. This thing means alot to me because I did alot of the work myself and I have had a lot of help from guys who have done this longer than me and I want to make them proud. So if beatin' the breaks off a couple of Chevy's is what ot will take I guess I will have to do it.

Good job of stirring the pot Jay, looking foreward to seeing you guys a race soon.

Jay. you know that thing will run 6.30's with ease, that's a Chevy. I will be sure to pass on to John this evening that your seat belts are tight whatever inside joke that is.
