Spectators
 

In light of spectators having a problem with racers riding their pit bikes maybe the sportsman committee can bring up the problem we have with spectators impeding our getting to the staging lanes.I usually only do 2 or 3 national events a year and even with my limited races I'm held up by some of these sightseers.
They can hear the car behind them but they're not getting out of the way till they're finished gawking at whatever.Anybody else have this problem?
BTW I've run the Pres. Cup Nat'l event At MIR and the IHRA spectators seem to have a better grasp on the fact that they are in your way and they move right away.

What's almost as bad as that is the guy who got put out first round who is on his way from his BFE parking spot to the front gate.. Then feels like he has to stop his toter and stacker on the one lane pit road to talk to everyone he's ever met at the races, while the line of cars trying to go to the staging lanes stacks up behind him.

How about the guy that redlights and then drives down the track at 3 mph.
