connecting rods and pistons
I have heard that manley and crower are the one's to choose. Everybody's feed back would be nice. It's a SBChevy 305 to be exact. Oh and stock eliminator pistons i was told that CP is a very good brand? I guess i would like feed back on pistons also! I have been out of racing for almost 30 years and i'm back but very far behind everyone in knowledge. thanks!

Re: connecting rods and pistons
everything depends on the combination and what is available for it but we have had excellent luck with JE pistons, and great customer service. Rods, I'm not really sure on. after having some recent rod issues, i am looking into the rods as well.

Re: connecting rods and pistons
Its pretty hard to beat the manley sportsman rod . I have used them in a dozen stock/ super stock and have yet to have one fail. Plus they are lite as the stock ones. Jim Hanig

Re: connecting rods and pistons
You better check the NHRA piston list, found under rules. there are three different lists for 305 by year and CP is not on all of them. The list goes by factory HP.
