Anyone wishing to know a little more about Mr Birkett can see his profile on a website I have started to "spread the word" if you will about the great happenings here in the south. I'm not a computer/internet expert, just doing what I enjoy, writing and taking pictures and trying to create an outlet where I can share with anyone wishing to see it.

Thanks Kenny. While we didn't get to talk at great length, Owen has a genuine personality that's sometimes hard to find anymore.

Great job Sean! I met Owen at Reynolds and enjoyed talking to him. Nice job on the profiles on Owen and the earlier one on Jim Woods. Also liked the pic of a particular Camaro in the slideshow on the home page!

Thanks for the kind words. It was my pleasure doing the profile of Owen. I know from my personal experience I have a couple neat stories of how I started as do most of us and hopefully the stories will be an inspiration. Such as you guys losing a car in a fire and being able to rise back from such a devastating thing.

Warren & Owen have been a part of my extended family for 20 some odd years. They have always be great people to be around. Owen & I grew up together at race tracks all over the south. Amazingly, I didn't find out untill this year that he may know more about INTERNATIONAL BEER than International Drag Racing! -Walt

Before first round I told Owen to take it easy on my son who was his opponent. He did not take it easy on him! I still like Owen however, what a nice guy! Jim
