SS piston/ring package....
 

I've got a "bracket-mode" combo for my 283 + .060" motor....older 3-ring pistons (375 grms) with .043-1/16-3/16 ring grooves. Second ring is back-cut to reduce drag.. low tension oil ring. .Was thinking of running a 3-ring combo but wondering if 2-ring is way to go? If I go with 2, what about the empty middle groove, or should I get a 2-ring groove piston? Anybody try both and what did you find? Any special prep with 2-ring? thanks!
