Weight Bar Tabs
 

Anyone have the specs. for weight bar tabs? It's not clear in the rule book. Just states (2) 1/2" bolts per 100lbs. and what the construction of the box or bar should be.

SFI spec chassis require weight bar mounts to be a minimum of 1/8" gusseted chrome moly tabs ....A weight box would require a minimum of 2 such tabs on the frame rail or crossmember. .... It is also acceptable to bolt thru a crossmember or frame rail on non SFI spec cars, such as most S/SS classes....Tech guys usuall frown at boxes bolted thru the trunk floor. .....Tom
