smashing index's
 
what is the reason for all the modified and modified stock classes being hit. this is not comp, i dont understand the reasoning behind this. can anyone explain

You answered your own question, guys are crushing the index their respective class, this is done in lieu of adding horsepower.

I believe that only SS/BS has been hit this year, from 10.05 to 9.95. Earlier this year a lot of these cars were qualifying at 1.20 under easily. It definitely needed to be hit.

It didn't help that one of the cars ran a factored 8.47 either, those cars (1.20+ under) really made it hard on some guys in the class.
