Tickets for St Judes Patients as guests at Mid South Nationals in Memphis
 

Currently we plan to have some young patients from St Jude's Childrens Hospital and their families attend the Mid South National at Memphis and join us for lunch on Saturday. I have conned two of my friends into entering their cars in the race just so we could do this. Since this is a national event the track has no ticket control and NHRA said they cannot provide us with any tickets.

If you will have any extra tickets or would like to join in purchasing some, please let us know. We will not have a rough number from the sign up sheets they have posted until later next week. Some may be out of town patients with long term care staying at the Ronald McDonald or Target houses and some may be local Memhpis patients.

(Let's hope there are some drag racing fans among the young patients!)

Bobby, you know that I will help with some tickets. I will have both cars for the kids there. Just need to find out how many Hot Dogs we need.

Please let me know where to send a check towards your ticket fund. I think the St. Jude's organization is one of the finest non-profits in the country and they are on my annual support list. I'd love to help send a child to a race.

Thank you for the assistance offer Julie, we will let you know. And what can I say about Mr. Brannon? I was lucky to be able to tag along racing with Tom and Carol Rix and meet so many great people, and most fortunate to meet Bobby.

I'm skipping McDonald's today so with that and the saved gallon of gas I'm 1/2 way to another ticket!

Imagine the POSITIVE STORY ON DRAG RACING the track could use to let EVERYONE in FREE for this event from ST. Judes. Do you have a PAYPAL address I will send today. You also gave me a great idea to do at our track with a childrens hospitol 45 miles away. If you cant do paypal I will send a check. Being from Memphis my mom worked there as a volunteer many years ago.
