Trailer insurance / winter storage
Who do you use for your race trailer insurance agent & company ?? Do they alow you to change your coverage to just comp during the off season when it just sets ??? Mine is with Citizens Ins. & they tell me this is not a option with them.
ALL info is greatly appericated. THANKS Doug Wesler |
Re: Trailer insurance / winter storage
I use Allstate & they let me drop collision in the off season. (and I still have a hefty loan balance) I would think Geico or Progressive would also have the option. I just dropped Progressive after 9 years & switched to Allstate. My insurance dropped by $800/yr. so maybe not a good option there!

Re: Trailer insurance / winter storage
I use Liberty Mutual, cost is inexpensive and is covered in my drive way,at the track and on the road. the car inside is not covered, seperate coverage for the car.

Re: Trailer insurance / winter storage
I have state farm and its only 34 a month with my multi line discount. I always just leave it in place in case there is a reason to take it out on the road.
By the way this is on a fairly well loaded up Haulmark 44' GN no living quarters. Rob |
