Anyone know if its ready? With NHRA's national and divisional out, it would be a good chance to schedule less conflicts.

It usually takes IHRA much longer than this to put put a schedule. It is usually a few weeks after the banquet.

What about the fact NHRA scheduled on top of IHRA dates that have been around for years. Im the track operator business there is no reason for that. Now the racers in NC get one less race.

Atlanta National is on top of Rockingham National event. So Rock moves one week up possibly, now VA Division 1 race is on that date. My point is it hurts everyone including racers mostly.

I have two nhra points meets within 500 miles of my house, they are both on the same weekend as an IHRA race.

I think it is a bit premature to assume the 2009 IHRA schedule will be the same as the 2008 schedule. With the NHRA divisional schedule being released this early, it gives the IHRA plenty of time to work around it. If there are two NHRA points meets on the same weekend within reasonable driving distance of your track, that appears to me to be a possible conflict that the IHRA could use to its advantage in compiling their 2009 schedule.

Hey Herb, I've got a couple of people asking about the S/SS combo race on your schedule for Nov.1 & 2. Is this race still on and if so, what are the details of the race?
