Why would he have a buy it now of $36,995? That's what the cost is. Dealer cost is $34,050 +/-

I was about to report it to ebay but had better things to do. But yes, you are right. He has something for sale he has no control over. Ebay would cancel the ad. Forward it to MOPAR. These are supposed to be going to racers, not ebay.

Ebay is only in it for the bucks.
They really don't care if anyone gets ripped off as long as they get their cut.
Been screwed there before and the people at Ebay basically just said that is part of doing business there.
I even traced the seller to a Post Offices ETC and not an actual address.
Ebays policy does not allow that but the guy is still ripping people off at that same address.
Buyers Beware !!!!!
My Experience

Dealers can place orders thru the proper channels for showroom and what not......so, I suspect this may be a dealer.

If you follow enough links, you can see that the seller is the Gerry Wood Auto Group of South Salisbury, NC.

They are a multi-line dealer and have a Dodge franchise. Looks to me like he's fishing on eBay to find a customer that Mopar will accept and sell the car to. Plus, they may be testing the waters to see how much one of the cars will actually bring.

It is against eBay policy, though, since there's no way he can guarantee the winning bidder will actually get to purchase one of the cars. Considering who the seller is, I have no doubt all monies would be refunded but it's still against the rules.
