66-67 chevyII
Does anyone make a good double adjustable shock for the front of a 66 chevy II that will fit the stock mounts? I just purchased a pair of Afco's that don't fit. What are the super stock guys using for these cars, and do you have to run the factory spring, or can you convert it to a coil over set up with the stock upper a-arm? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: 66-67 chevyII
You cannot do a coilover converstion, but don't pitch your AFCOs yet.
Call this guy. He makes a mount for the bottom of the shock. http://www.matukasmotorsports.com/index.html |
Re: 66-67 chevyII
Thanks James, I'll give him a call. The problem with the afco is the bottom adjuster on the shock makes the overall diameter of the shock to large to fit inside of the factory spring. What shocks do you run on the front of your car? Thanks
