Advanced & Meziere team up
 

Looks like you Chevy guys have all the luck! Mezeier is working with Advanced Clutches to produce a factory install starter that will spin a 142 tooth flywheel. Maybe some of you out-and-out race engineers can explain it but the way I understand it, it's desireable to keep the center of mass as close to the pivot point as possible. Apparently oing from a 168 tooth or even 153 tooth Chevy flywheel down to a 142 tooth will accomplish this. This will only fit in the dual 7" assembly package and will not fit the single 10" package. But it sounds like those that allready have the dual 7" just need the smaller flywheel.
Looks like I need to call Meziere in the morning...
