10051183 Bowtie Block
 

hi,
for those of you that haven't ran across it yet, the legal GM s/s block has been discontinued and is no longer available. After a few emails back and forth and some discussion NHRA has made a decision to allow the 10185047 block. Here's their response-

GM Performance Parts Part # 10185047 is an acceptable block for use in Stock
and Super Stock.9.025 deck,3.980-4.155 bore,4 bolt mains, 350 crank journal
size.If you see something else that you would pefer, sent me a number and I
will look at it.

I've also petitioned them to allow the new Dart SHP blocks because of price and availability, but haven't
heard back on that decision yet. I'll keep you posted.
