DIV 1 Safety Team Mike Summers is in the hospital
 

Please lift Mike Summers, former Maple Grove starting line worker, in your prayers.
Mike collapsed Thursday morning while working a part time job. He is in critical condition and the doctors are not sure if he has suffered any permitted brain damage. He is unresponsive at present. With sugar levels well over 700, his wife Terry is very concerned that he might just give up without a fight.
Mike also worked at Numidia Raceway before joining the Division 1 team. He worked the front of the lanes at Atco's October points race.
Chaplains Dan & Claire Laterza asked if I would post this request for prayers for Mike.
I will post an address for cards to be sent as soon as I get it. I hope that we can let Mike know that he is in our thoughts and prayers.

Mike is still in the ICU and his wife Terry and their children are with him daily. Please keep Terry, their children and grandchildren in your prayers for the strength and comfort they need each day.

Mike is truly a fine individual, my family will keep he and his family in our thoughts and prayers. Jim
