One less worry in 2009
 
VP has become the official racing fuel for IHRA.Now any NHRA crossover racers wont need to carry more
potential bombs in their trailers or p/u beds.Looks like IHRA is making some moves to entice crossovers.Now if they can secure some more tracks and participation increases,payouts may rise a bit.Yhe compitition might just force NHRA to kick back some more $$ to our payouts.Not holding my breath but you never know.Anyway I hope IHRA keeps moving in the direction they're going now.Maybe the "circus guy" will be a benifit for our sport.

Can you run in 10.90 or 9.90 in IHRA without a throttle stop?

Yes, its looking good, as long as the Economy doesnt fall in a depression

Yes. Eddie Bolton won the 2002 IHRA Hot Rod World Championship (10.90 class) without a throttle stop.

I don't remember seeing a fuel supplier at an IHRA division race in quite a few year...

usually whatever brand fuel the track normally sells is what is there. Pittsburgh inked a deal with VP last year. That is what they will have.
