How long does a national record stay intact if it is not reset ???

Two years in NHRA as per 2007 rule book.

How long does the extra horsepower you may get ,after setting the record ,last? LOL!!!! Go fast,.... don't turn at all, and don't hit any walls!

should I go with the gentleman that read it out of the 2007 rulebook??

NHRA changed it back to two years recently like it use to be for as long
as I can remember.

Ok, I guess I'm guilty of not reading my rulebook completely! I'm glad it changed back to 2 years, I had heard they were thinking of going back to 2 years but I guess I missed the official notice. Sorry.
