Foxwoods pulls out as title sponsor
 

Sad news as Foxwoods Casino is no longer the sponsor fot D1 Top Sportsman. They are feeling the economic crunch like everyone else. I wonder if anyone will step up to take over as title sponsor. Furthermore, I wonder how this will effect the class in the future.

Hi everyone, I have made a statement about myself and Foxwoods which is posted on the Div. 1 site. I also sent out over 100 letters to our competitors explaining everything. I want everyone to know that the series will continue with or without a sponsor and that a couple of people have already said that they would be interested in becoming a co-sponsor which Bob Lang is working on at this time. This series has a strong foundation and we feel that it will continue to be successful in the future. I want to thank everyone that has supported this program over the last four years to help make it what it is today and I also want to thank Foxwoods, they were very, very, good to me for thirteen years.
