.370 vs. .400 tree - nationals vs. division 2?
What software is used to activate the .400 (.370) Pro tree in Super classes at NHRA nationals, and is it the same used at all Division 2 events? I'd like to know if my hits at the first division 2 Super Comp races will be valid for the Gatornationals, or if I can assume I'll be .030 if I'm .000 at the Lucas Oil races. Or does it vary by track?
Gainesville claims they use the same national event program all the time, but my S/ST "rollout" was slower at the actual Lucas Oil races than it was at the Test and Tunes in the weeks prior on the "same" .500 Pro tree. I'd like to know the deal in Super Comp, since I have less time in the box to dump. |
Re: .370 vs. .400 tree - nationals vs. division 2?
I dont know the answer (although I think its something in the software)...but what I do is, first time shot I empty the box and go shallow as I can, then try to kill the tree...if fact sometimes (at divisionals) I do the same for the second shot, and then determine how much to put back in...My car can usually go red on a .370 (after alot of work) so if I'm red I'm happy...
In D1 all the Nats and Div races are .370.... |

Re: .370 vs. .400 tree - nationals vs. division 2?
Mr chillik it is .370 at natls because of pro stock bikes, divisionals are generaly .400 but like most things in life track to track in divisions it can change. Thats why you kinda gotta ask the locals or finger it out you self

Re: .370 vs. .400 tree - nationals vs. division 2?
The same guy sets up all the National events and I did talk to him at the Topeka KS race in 2007.
He indicated it was a .370 for all the National events. Other events are up to the person setting it up. Could be anything. I like the idea of instant green. No Red Lights. Maybe thats because I have a lot of red light losses. It seems if you are not .00 something or very close to it anymore you may be toast. My 2 Cents |

Gary-
I remember that conversation at Bradenton last year vividly. Bill looked at us like we were from another planet and told us we crazy to think that's the way it is. Uh, OK there Bill.... C'mon up, the water's FINE! See you soon.... -Don |
