Tire size help
 

My partner has an 83 camaro with stock length rear housing but a 9" ford housing. We would like to know whats the tallest and widest tire we can get under the well in order to then figure out a gear ratio. Please include wheel size and back spacing.

Gary, I have a 1986 camaro I/SA car so I am limited to nine inch wide tires and NO wheel tub mods but if it helps I have 15x8 weld drag lite wheels and a back space of four and a half inches. These wheels bolted right on with no problems ( thanks to Brian Vanpoppel at MPS) because these questions have been posted here before. good luck!
