Re: Forrest Lipke
IMMOKALEE, Fla. - Good news. Forrest Lipke, from Belleville, Wisc., was released from the hospital this morning and is back at the track.
Lipke was injured in a vicious-looking accident past the finish line in the Quick Rod final round yesterday. Several eyewitnesses reported that something appeared to break on Lipke's dragster, sending it into the wall. The car bounced off the wall a couple times, but did not roll over. Lipke was unconscious when safety crews got to the car and they took all the usual precautions while removing him from the car. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured. |
