Getting a car accepted into the class guide
So I asked about this on another thread, but i want to post one in here where more people will see it.
I am looking at two different combos that are not on the class guide right now. I was wondering if anyone has some sort of idea of who to contact within the manufacturers to get the specs submitted to NHRA. The two cars I am looking at are the '89 to '93 Ford Probe GT Turbo and the '90 to '94 Eagle Talon/Plymouth Laser Turbo AWD. So I need to find contacts for Ford and Chrysler. Anyone? |

Can All wheel drive cars run slicks on All 4 wheels ? Got to be alittle tricky in the burn out box ? There are tracks that you can not drive around the water area / box .

Re: Getting a car accepted into the class guide
I have found a car (errr... minivan). But I am inerested in the probe combo so I will keep trying to get in touch with someone at ford.
I spoke to a girl at the tech dept. this morning and she didn't know who to talk to. I e-mailed all of the rules committee members, hoping to get some better direction so we will see what happens. I also spoke with someone at ford racing who was going to e-mail on my request to their NHRA "person". In the meantime... if anyone knows who at ford i need to get in touch with (Tim Kish do you have any idea???) let me know!!! |
