Hey, 87-93 mustang stockers, what is the tallest tires you've run on your fronts?

28 in. Works good until you start doing big wheelies. Still works ok as long as the front comes down easy.

Re: 87-93 Stocker mustang front tire height

Welllll, I don't know about having "no" clearance issues. It really depends on the offset of the front wheels, 15x 4 with 2.25" backspace helps, and the front ride height needs to be right. The only time I ever had a rub is when I did BIG wheelies with the Bracket engine (347) in 2007. It would carry the front wheels about 120 ft. on a normal pass. When I ran the "Stocker" setup (302 HO) it never rubbed. I'm going to be running in SS/AS this year and I have went back to a 26 tall M/T just because I like my wheelies! Hope this helps.
