Is IHRA still 6 dvisionals in division and 2 divisionals out for points?

Claim best 5 of 8 total. Must claim minimum of 4 "In" to be eligible for points/awards. Same as last year.

Do you have to claim 4 races in your division,or just attend 4 races in your division?

The way I read the rulebook,you just have to attend 4 races in your division.You could lose in the first round at these 4 events,and win 4 events outside of your division and be the "division champ",even though you never won a round in your own division.Seems kind of strange.

What if you run 8 races out and then just attend 4 in. Would the 4 in count towards your total and bump 4 of the out races you've already been to???

Hey Chip "Legend",
I had the same question and sent an email to IHRA. I was going to have 8 divisional races completed prior to having the "must have 4" in division. The reply was that the best 5 of the first 8 would count, but that I would have to enter my race #9 and #10 would not improve my points, only complete the requirement of attending 4 in-division.

I'm on the 10 races, 6 weekends, 4 Division Tour in 2009
