Re: Lee Shepherd
Bobby,
I was just a punk freshmen in high school when this came out. I saw a note in National Dragster the other day about this and asked Phil Burgess if he had a copy, which he forwarded to me. I never saw Shepherd wind through a five speed in the Vette but later on when he was driving the Shioleno & Colemen (sp) G/MP Camaro. Seems like I always missed RMS when they would come to Eastex Dragway for those monthly Modified meets. Sorry Longbob but I had to reduce it in size just to post it. If anyone wants a copy through e-mail, send me your e-mail address. You can read it much better there. |
Re: Lee Shepherd
Todd, send me a copy via email also. What grade were you in??? I was in the same grade.lol

Tony Christian bought the car from Lee and was very succesful with it.I think he won 3 or 4 National events with it in the late 70's.Engines came from Gary Brown racing in Morton Grove,Il.
