Boy I guess you were right when I talked to you on Saturday about being right there on the 1/8 mile set up....haha. Had some tough guys to get through also, Iggie and Jason Kenny in the final not sure about the other rounds. Good way to start off the season....See you at the Grove in a few weeks.

PS - How bout that Tom S. winning again in S/C with a DOOR CAR.....who said that it was all about dragsters. Thanks for keeping the hope alive for us shoebox drivers in.

The payout section on the above site says "based on 32 car fields". Well, Super Gas had only 25 or 26 cars. So, as advertised, full payout was not in order. It advertises $750 for runner-up ... and the check I got as runner up, was for $750.

Joe didn't have to, but he did pay the full purse. Thanks Joe!

The car and driver are very good and it must have been tricky trying to find the 1/8th mile index in just a couple runs....Nice win Matt....
