Race car insurance

I know there has been a thread on this before, but I am to lazy to dig that deep. In light of Dons accident, I more than ever realize I need to insure my race car. I am checking with Bill Lutz. I cant remember any others at this point. Please help. I know of stock racer Dick Kincaid, but need a contact. Who do you guys have?
Thanks

Re: Race car insurance

I just purchased insurance through Bill Horton who was very good to work with. Too much invested to have idiots run into it. Hopefully I won't run into theirs also. Their insurance covers everything in the pits, return road and staging lanes and when being stored and transported. $520 plan covers 50K with a 1K deductible. You only have to put 25% down and then a 9 month payment plan.

You just have to provide a detailed parts list and a few pics of the car and their parts and you'll be all set.

Here is his contact info.

I have also contacted Bill and the prices are very good. Thank you for the information.

However, they don't offer on-track insurance, so we are still shopping around. Here is another one you can try. They offer coverage for racecars on-track, off-track, storage, and transportation, and their rates are very reasonable. They also offer coverage for trailers and contents. I believe there is a limit for the 1/4 mile E.T., so this company may not work for everyone.
