what do you folks know about vp 110. is it comprable to torco 110 or c11.

I don't think VP 110 is on nhra's accepted list

On the Ihra website the accepted fuel list under vp it has stock/superstock and then across from that it has the color as purple. At my home track they just started selling vp and one of the grades is listed as vp110. the color of this is also listed as purple. I am wondering if these are the same thing and hopeing somebody could clear this up. thanks.

VP 110 is a circle track fuel. Do they run a circle track at your hime track?

my home track is mir, and they sell it there. it does not say anything about it being a circle track fuel and what would make it a circle track fuel vs. a drag race fuel. i never heard of such a thing.

You asked a question. About comparing fuel. VP 110 is what a lot of circle track guys use. If you race an nhra or IHRA stoc or superstock class car and go through fuel check.
You are out.It is not on their list.
If you are going to run a fuel thats not on the list their are a lot of oxygenated fuels that will make you go faster.

Have you looked at the Ihra list? If you have what is that first fuel on the list? Its labeled stock/super stock and the fuel color is purple. On the mir website they have vp 110 listed and the color is also purple. What I am asking is if anybody knows if this is the same thing or not.

I recommend contacting VP to know if it is the same. If you look at the list of NHRA approved fuels, VP has (3) blues, (4) yellows and (3) clears and they are all different blends. NHRA actually lists the Stock/SuperStock fuel as Light Blue where IHRA calls it Purple - that alone is concerning.

I used VP110 a couple of years ago at a points meet and got tossed. They had nothing close to it in their books. They checked it as stock/superstock also commenting about the different color (possible change)
Call VP and ask them.
