NTR Jegs Super Series Information
 

The information about National Trail Raceway's Jegs Super Series events are now posted on our website (www.nationaltrailraceway.com). Some of the highlighted changes for 2009:

1. All competitors will be paired on a sportsman ladder based upon a drivers best pass closest to the index without breaking out in time trials / qualifying beginning in the opening round of racing (like National and Divisionals do for the 2nd round).

2. On back to back racing dates (Saturday and Sunday race weekends), we will only have one time trial / qualifying session for each class (ET and Super Series).

3. The points chase for the Jegs Super Series will allow racers to claim their best 5 events out of the 6 races.

Chris meant to say on a Sat Sunday Super Series event that we would have one qualifying run on Sunday so we can get finished earlier for those traveling any distnce. This is a great series that I would like to continue. The dates this year are placed better and the track s great. We need a few more entries to keep it alive. Go on the NTR website and check it out.

Bill, I'm going to talk to Jim about this, i feel we need 2 runs at least for Saturday and we all thought one was ok for Sunday, but one each day, i don't know about that one.

Bill is correct.

On the days in which we are running a Saturday and a Sunday race, we will have two qualifying passes on Saturday and one on the Sunday event before going into round one of eliminations.

Chris, I got my Trails schedule in the mail. I can not tell what dates are Super Series? Am I just stupid or what? Don't answer that! What dates are super series. Thanks, Jeff

Hey Guys:

To keep this program going, as racers spread the word around. I know there were some scheduling issues the past couple years and track prep, but being this program has been moved to mid year, it should be better.

Chris: Continue to use that traction compound. You made us Super Gas racers pretty happy once you started using it on a regular basis.

We hope to be out soon. Rick and I have had some family issues the past couple months. My father took a nasty fall in January so we are dealing with his health issues. Plus those of you that knew our black cocker spaniel, Clyde, unfortunately we had to put him down in February. He will be missed by all. So I will be going solo on the golf cart this year but look forward to being out on the starting line crewing for 2 cars again.

First off, I have no comment on the stupid issue. All of us have some sort of problem in that area at one time or another :)

The Super Series dates are as follows:

Saturday, June 20th
Sunday, June 21st
Saturday, July 18th
Saturday, September 12th
Sunday, September 13th
Sunday, October 4th

Keep the questions coming and spread the word wherever Super Series races are run.
